I really can't stop thinking about how brilliant this photo series is, Stanelli's Super Circus, by Luke Stephenson , ever since I saw it on Flickr the other day. Amazing. Trust me that you will be happy to check out the rest of them on his stream. (I mentioned that they are awesome, no?)

I've seen these puppets in action at the Upfront Gallery near Penrith in Cumbria (www.up-front.com). Believe me, the photos, good as they are, don't do them justice. They are truly amazing 'in the flesh'. In my opinion a very good use of the relatively small amount of lottery money it took to save them. Much beter value than the Olympic games.
